Haircuts

Haircuts

It's that time again for the girls to head into the shed for a haircut. It always seems so mean that you shear their beautiful soft wool off as the weather starts to get colder. It’s incredible to see the different colours in the wool and what colour the sheep is underneath. They are either the jet black or a shade of beautiful grey. It’s a family affair, the boys moving them around in the yard and my daughter helps sort out the colours as they are shorn. Hot chips on the back of the ute for lunch, can’t beat it! We’ve kept some of the black and grey separate in the aim of getting it spun. I’ve already asked my friends mum to get her knitting needles ready!! Exciting.
