Meet Vanessa
Hello, I’m Vanessa, the founder of Three Sticks Gotland Sheepskins.
My husband and I live on our family farm in the heart of Taranaki, on New Zealand’s wild west coast – raising our beautiful Gotland sheep and our three wonderful children (our name refers to the kids and the New Zealand saying that remote, rural places are out in the “sticks”). Nothing makes me happier than growing and sharing our own beautiful produce, enriching the lives of our family and friends.

Originating from an island just off the coast of Sweden, Gotland Sheep are thought to have been first bred by the Vikings centuries ago. The Norse warriors prized the sheep for their superior meat and super soft skins – just like we do today.
About Gotland Sheepskins
